#1 Post at 20-8-2012 22:37  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Chinese Visa in HK Just a quick question i need to get a chinese visa when i get to HK from Australia any idea on how long this would take or is there a fast way of doing this so i don't have to stay in HK at all ? I would be looking at getting the longest possible visa i can as i will be in and out often over the next year...

RICO's gonna reply to your query even though a quick simple search would most probably get you the info you need... I got a China visa from a travel agent in Tsuen Wan and it cost 1310ishhk dollars to be ready in 3 days... The downside is that you have to leave your passport with them whilst they are processing your application...

I just read in the newspaper today that China has changed its rules for visitors. I think check with the Chinese Embassy in Australia.

#5 Post at 30-8-2012 12:16  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #1 cmk2779's post go to any travel agent in australia and they can help you apply for the visa, i remember a single entry visa used to be around 40AUD but with your multiple long term requirement, you might want to check with the agent. i would suggest you allow 1-2 weeks to apply for it, if you want it fast tracked, you might need to pay more.

But a friend of mine recently got a single entry visa for China and he is from Aust - he had no problems. It depends how quick you want the visa. Express is the next day or regular is 4/5 days... Aussies don't get charged to much for visas - as opposed to Brits and Americans Recent Ratings ramont   1-9-2012 23:07   Acceptance   +1   That's where I went to get mine 1100HKD (US)
