So sad to be addicted to gambling and then taking one's own life.
Is today his anniversary ?

don't know; got the file from "someone" and decided to post the lyrics here;

even if he is gone, he will still remain in our memories ................................

and btw tried to look for another song and OMG, the song was released on the same year "someone" was born

No, Danny gambled, he owned money to loansharks and lots of it !
he must have decided to take his life because of this. He killed himself about 15 years ago.

That must be a cultural gap. I was listening to Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, etc.

More like an age-gap bro.    The 3 groups you mention all come from the 80s.
By then, I'd stopped listening to pop music.    

Not that long ago - 2003. My wife liked him. He jumped from the Mandarin Hotel.  

All the girls from the 80's and 90's were crazy about him. That's before Andy Lau and Leon Lai appeared. My cousins and her friends were all sad and stuffs when they heard the news in the US.

That's a nice song and he was a good singer.  One of my friend always said his life is like this song.

Leslie jumped, another guy who was a DJ and celeb called Paul Chung jumped....Danny died of illness but it was never
released exactly what it was...he was in a coma for a long time....

I stand corrected,
I was actually thinking of Paul Chung - he took his own life after owning lots of money to loansharks.
Danny Chan died of an overdose and was in coma for a long time.

The only celeb I have heard of here in HK who died of AIDS was an actor with the surname of Kwan, can't remember his first name but I think he was Eurasian. And the
other celeb who died not long ago was Roman Tam and I think he died of cancer....of course Anita Mui also died of cancer....how did we get started on this morbid subject?
Perhaps we all get a little nostalgic when Christmas is near!

He was Keith Kwan, a presenter on TVB and also did a few movies.
I remember he died in Canada.  God, I feel so old right now trying
to think back to those days gone by .....

And we all know that Danny Chang was gay. And of course the rumor or speculation of his cause of death was AIDS.

Don't know who Paul Chung is... may know his Chinese name.

I didn't know Anita Mui was dead From what I knew, she hit the bottom bad from being the top female singer in HK.
