I am little confused by your story, it sounds like your friend really in love with this lady( if she left him, he may kill himself.), if he is really in love with her, why would the lady need to give him an ultimatum ?

Well if your friend is as naive as your described him , maybe he deserves it, that how he is going to learn...who knows maybe the marriage is going to work out...ok

We spent this weekend with him and he opened up to us.  We ended up going to Atlantic City for the weekend and really had a good talking.  We are guessing he was getting a bit desperate since he is a bit older than the rest of us (37) but he basically thought he was not going to be married for the rest of his life.  I don't know, perhaps a pre-midlife crisis.  He never told us that he was "seeing" her so he sort of apologized for hiding that portion from us.

We got a bit tipsy, explained everything to him and told him everything.  He pretty much thanked us and we had an awesome time in Atlantic City.  On Saturday, we hooked up with 4 WGs and spent the whole afternoon and night with them.  We spent the whole Sunday looking for the ladies and he actually ended up hanging out with a 30 year old Chinese lady who was actually very nice.

He plans to cancel everything and pretty much never call up the China whore ever again.  He got the 30 year old lady's number and hopefully he can find a healthy relationship with her for now.

As for my friends and I, we are relieved.

I have a few business associates who frequent, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and China who do not cheat on their wives.  I like to put myself into their group whenever I leave NYC and LA.  My wife knows their wives and vice versa.  Not everyone goes to Asia for sex only.  

Hong Kong and China are the biggest stops for any business in the world.  I am sure that not all of them come for sex.  I know a group that works for Sony who frequents Hong Kong and China monthly, not one of them are mongers.  I am talking about a group of 12 men.  Then again, I have friends who work for IBM, who put me to shame with their crazy mongering practices (fucking girls at the dinner table while eating, blowjobs while playing MJ, etc...) but they have deeper pockets and much deeper connections in China.
