Hotel recommendations for SA sessions?

I'm pretty inexperienced with this so any info would be good.

It needs to be some place that will allow me to pay in cash and won't require too much ID and passport stuff.
I'm looking for somewhere in Causeway Bay or the Island in general. Not too expensive, under 1K if possible. SA girls are expensive enough as is...

Go to a hourly love hotel mate. The Hotel Victoria chain with shops in either Wanchai or Tin Hau is decent. No questions asked there - just bring your girl, pay at the counter and go to the room. No bookings needed in advance too, all walk-ins. For two hours it cost about 320 HKD and they throw in two condoms too. Its pretty clean and decent for the short stay.

Use an app call Flow HK. If u want more flexible timing than the usual checking 2pm checkout 12pm next day. They run some deals with some HK hotels to do 6 hour booking that can start checking from the morning and checkout in the evening....

It really depends on your budget. If you're looking for a decent hotel, I'd recommend Gateway Marco Polo, it's close to a major shopping mall and lots of food options and the rooms are not too shabby. Price is $688+10% for one night.

There are also some staycation options you can book. I believe Mira tst has some $1300-1600 room and dinner for 2. Of course, there are some pricier options by Mandarin Oriental Landmark and they have some meal and stay packages for $2600 or so.

There are also some cheaper options in the Tst area like Soravit on Granville, Hart Hotel. These would be around $280-400/night.

Go to the Regal HK hotel in causeway bay
5 star hotel (decor a bit dated), great swimming pool
set you back  about $380 to 450 incl tax
The rooms have plenty of mirrors
No key card needed for elevator,
checkin simple but need HK ID (as per requirement in any hotel in hk), no deposit required, check out just drop in box, check in time is 3pm but they accept 2pm most of the time

Hourly hotels are great if you want more privacy (paying by cash, no IDs, etc).. but lately regular hotels have been super cheap due to covid.  So pricewise you actually get more value out of booking a regular hotel.  I booked a hotel in Central on Sat (might write a report about it later lol..).  Most mid range hotels are only around $400hkd a night after tax/fees, which is the same rate for those short term love hotels.  The downside is they did take mine and the girls id when checking in, but I dont really care its not like I know the workers. I guess I feel safer also, since I know the hotel took down her info.  I also dont mind the charge being on my card since it was a good way to collect points for it   The workers here all know whats up anyway, thinking back to the check in they handed our IDs back to us faced down so we couldnt see each others info.

Thanks for all the recommendations so far.

What got me to ask this question was that I proposed Hotel Victoria to a girl on SA after she quoted me 5K PPM and she flat out said "you're not my type".

I had no idea that regular hotels were so cheap now, not that much more than Hotel Victoria.

I suggest you try this web site: https://www.myfunnow.com/en/4-Hong-Kong

You can book a good hotel room with almost half the price of what they usually charge you.
I have used this one to book a room.  Very simple to use.

The other web site that is useful is: https://www.dayuse.com.hk/
They serve the same purpose.  But I have never used it before.  The interesting thing is sometime you find the same hotel on both sites and the charges are different.  So you better check both sites first.  Have fun.

I suggest bros compare prices between the day hotels and the full day hotels during this pandemic period … you may be surprised that full day hotels are cheaper

It is not just the rates. It is timing. I usually punt around lunch time. From 11am to 3pm. Yes the usual hours when they clean the rooms between stays. Full day booking starts checkin at 2pm earliest, which sucks. A day time booking usually covers my need much better.
