where's the flight attendants?

with airlines not flying and presumably cathay not in a great cash position, you gotta ask: where are the flight attendant freelancers?

The thing you need to do is find out the hotels that airlines use in major cities where their crew stay on layover/rest days.

For example in Bangkok this used to be the Imperial Queens Park Hotel on Suk Soi 22 until it was bought by Marriot and turned into a Marquis.

Airline crews who have been to cities many times already will generally not stray far from where they are staying. The decent bars around the hotels they are put up in will always have f/a's there to try to pick up.

@ramont presumably they wouldn't be flying anymore because there's 90%+ capacity cut across the network now. so you wouldn;t get sick from the ones not flying.

I have seen a couple of agents advertise flight attendants recently, but all of them are asking for $1x,xxx... Seems a bit expensive imho, when they are not particularly good looking or anything.... Guess they are starting to get a bit desperate with no flights and no work recently...

can find a couple indeed on TG under hkptgf but as mentioned 9 to 10k HKD... prucey when you could find some hot cuties for 2k something... maybe after another month when the financial crisis will hit in an even larger scale they will reassess...
