Since the case was dismissed there's no fine, but there is still a record that you were arrested and for what charges. Supposedly if your case has a favorable outcome (dismissed, not convicted, etc) your record is automatically sealed and is only visible by LE (i.e. it won't show up in a background check by an employer). However, in NY the records are never officially expunged (aka deleted), just sealed.

Spent money on a lawyer, didn't really trust the public attorney or myself to handle the situation correctly.
