I had a few awkward conversations with my boss about my hobby. He kind of figured out why I frequent Asian, esp. Thailand given its common knowledge I love Asian women. Bottom line is he believes sex trafficking is rampant and that most women are made to work as prostitutes against their will. Especially foreign women prostituting in the US and don't speak any English, he believe they aren't free, that most money they make do not go to them and they are tightly controlled and somewhat abused. This belief is not unique to him. Many people across the country share this understanding that much of the prostitution occurring is not simply two consenting adults. | |

His perception is incorrect, in that a majority is not like that, but maybe a very small minority. |
